What is e-invoicing?
Under GST, businesses above the notified turnover must report their B2B invoices to the Invoice Registration Portal (IRP), which returns an Invoice Reference Number (IRN) and a signed QR code for each one. E-invoicing software sends the invoice and stores what comes back. Suiteloom does this through its GST Suvidha Provider integration, from the invoices you already bill.
What it does
E-invoicing in Suiteloom
IRN from the invoice
No re-typing: the invoice you billed is the one reported.
Kept with the invoice
The IRN, acknowledgement number and date, and the signed QR.
One or many
File a single invoice, or tick several and file them together.
Clear failures
If the IRP refuses an invoice, the reason is shown as it was given.
Only when needed
Switched on by turnover, so smaller businesses never see it.
Pay per use
E-invoices are charged per invoice, only once you switch it on.
E-invoice queue
Every B2B invoice, and where it stands
See which invoices have an IRN, which are waiting and which failed, with the reason. Fix what needs fixing and file again — one at a time or in a batch.
- Generated, waiting or failed at a glance
- The IRP’s own reason on a failure
- File selected invoices together
The invoice
The IRN lives with the invoice
Once the IRP accepts an invoice, its IRN, acknowledgement and signed QR are stored on it — so the record is complete wherever you look at it.
- IRN and acknowledgement number and date
- The signed QR payload from the IRP
- B2C sales are never sent

FAQ
E-invoicing: your questions
Something else? support@suiteloom.com
Who has to issue e-invoices?
GST-registered businesses whose aggregate turnover in any financial year from 2017–18 has crossed the notified limit — ₹5 crore since August 2023 — must e-invoice their B2B supplies. Some sectors are exempt. Check the current rules for your business.
How does Suiteloom generate the IRN?
It sends your B2B invoice to the Invoice Registration Portal through its GST Suvidha Provider integration, and saves the IRN, acknowledgement and signed QR that come back.
Do B2C invoices need an IRN?
No. E-invoicing covers B2B invoices; Suiteloom only sends invoices billed to a GSTIN.
What if an invoice is rejected?
Its status shows failed with the reason the portal gave. Correct the problem and file it again.
Can I file several invoices at once?
Yes. Tick the invoices waiting to be filed and file them together.
How much does e-invoicing cost?
E-invoicing is charged per invoice filed, and only once you switch it on. The rate is shown in your billing settings before you do.
