Kitchen display & table management
From the table to the kitchen, without the running
Orders go from the waiter or the guest’s phone straight to a screen in the kitchen. Chefs mark dishes ready, waiters see what to take where, and the table is billed once at the end.
- A screen per kitchen station
- Dishes marked ready, waiters told
- Every round on one table bill

What is a kitchen display system?
A kitchen display system (KDS) replaces paper kitchen order tickets with a screen: each order appears for the station that cooks it, and the kitchen marks dishes as they are prepared and ready. In Suiteloom the KDS works with table management, so the waiter knows what is ready for which table and the table’s bill adds up every round.
What it does
Kitchen display & tables in Suiteloom
Any screen
Runs in the browser on a tablet, a TV or a spare laptop.
Per station
Each kitchen station sees only its own dishes, grouped by order.
Ready, then served
Chefs mark dishes ready; waiters see what to serve.
Tables
Free, reserved, occupied or cleaning — with what is waiting at each.
Rounds
Guests order again and again; one bill settles the table.
Roles that fit
Chefs see the kitchen, waiters the tables, cashiers the money.
Kitchen display
The kitchen sees it as it is ordered
Orders land on the screen for the station that cooks them, with the guest’s add-ons, and move from new to preparing to ready.
- Add-ons on every dish
- Time since each order
- Chef logins open only the kitchen
Tables
The floor, live
Every table’s state and what is waiting there: rounds to approve from the table QR, dishes ready to serve. A table’s first order seats it; billing it frees it.
- Approve guest rounds before they cook
- Mark a table reserved
- Void a sitting without billing it

FAQ
Kitchen display & tables: your questions
Something else? support@suiteloom.com
What do I need for the kitchen display?
Any tablet, TV with a browser or spare laptop in the kitchen. Sign in with a chef login and open the kitchen screen.
Can I have more than one kitchen station?
Yes. Set up stations — for example tandoor, Chinese and beverages — and each sees only its own dishes.
Do I still need to print KOTs?
Not with a kitchen screen: orders appear on it as they are placed, and dishes are marked ready there. Each station can work from the screen, from KOTs printed on the counter’s printer, or both.
How do waiters know a dish is ready?
When the chef marks it ready, it shows against the table for the waiter to serve.
Can guests order from the table?
Yes. Each table has its own QR link; guests send rounds from their phone, staff approve them and they go to the kitchen.
Is the kitchen display included?
Yes. Tables and the kitchen display come with every restaurant outlet at no extra cost.
